Let go to let in

All of us have some wishes, some prayers, some dreams and some visions for ourselves - our near and dear ones. We all have got some plans, that we want to work-out, maybe alone or with a partner or a group. We think about it - how it should be? how will it feel to have that vision satisfied? we become so fixated on it, a kind of unhealthy obsession takes over. Rather than handling something very softly in our minds, we grasp it by the neck to suffocate.

How do we go about our wishes? After all, throughout the day, we have hundreds of thoughts, both positive and negative. How do we maintain focus on what we wish for? We need to RELEASE it. Just a few moments of feeling grateful for what we have now, amplifies our desires to reach us.

We think we will be happy, when we achieve our wish, that dream, that prayer. What we fail to understand is that being happy now will bring us the wish we are praying for/dreaming about. Being grateful for all that we have is the biggest happiness that attracts more happiness to be grateful for. Rather than being focused on the wish like - "oh it's still not here! when will it happen?", we need to be mindful of being present and being thankful for all that we have.

Letting go is a pure spiritual practice of detaching from our desires and allowing the Universe to bring it to us at the perfect timing. This timing arrives when we are prepared- with the inner work that we are required to do to get ready. However, the delays, the detours have full power of demotivating and the anxiety getting the best of us. Letting go also promises of blessing us with emotional flexibility and enhanced resilience - this will test our faith to achieve what we desire; this will test our hunger - "how bad do we want it?".

So the combination is to believe in letting go, having faith and unwavering perseverance to attain what we want.
